Cold and Flu Remedies

Health

Peppermint. Contains menthol that may affect mucus receptors, helping to open airways and clear mucus. May fight bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Eucalyptus. Alternative remedy for sinusitis and congestion. Helps relieve symptoms of cold and cough, including stuffiness. Improved sinusitis symptoms of headaches, runny nose and nasal obstruction.
Lavender. May improve symptoms of sinus congestion by reducing pain and swelling. Analgesic effects that helps with inflammation. It's calming effects promotes sleep.


Wellness

Inhalation. Place a few drops on a clean cloth or tissue, holding near nose, breathe in gently. Add a few drops to a bowl of steaming water, inhale steam. Place a clean towel over head to create a chamber.
Diffusion. Add 2-5 drops in a diffuser of choice and let it fill the room, gently breathing in the air.
Bath/shower. Add a few drops to a bath and gently inhale while soaking. Add a few drops in the shower and breathe in the steam.
Topical. Add 3-5 drops to every ounce of your favorite carrier oil and apply to desired area. Test for irritation prior to application.
